| Introduction | Tom Mathews is an amateur family historian who recently retired from a 30-year healthcare consulting career. He now enjoys spending time doing the things he loves. This includes researching family history, reading, tutoring English language-learners, traveling, playing boardgames and walking his dog, Smudge. Tom graduated from the university of Colorado with a BS in Journalism and a BA in International Affairs with a Latin American Specialty. He is a past president and current program chair of the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society. He is also a member of the California Genealogical Society, National Genealogical Society, and New England Historic Genealogical Society. |
