| Introduction | I am a lifelong journalist, including nearly two decades at The Associated Press (where I was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize as part of national reporting teams on the eruption of Mount St. Helens, and later guardianship abuses of the elderly.) After AP, I worked 20 years with The Salt Lake Tribune in a variety of reporting (crime, courts, history, business, medical, technology and religion) and managerial roles. As a freelancer (MimsMedia, a Utah business entity), I have ghosted or written/edited more than 100 magazine articles and more than a dozen books.
