Introduction	Why blog? Because I'm far from what I've always known as "home". Because I'm a journal-er at heart and from way back. Because I'm afraid of the precious moments and funny memories my little family make on a daily basis being forgotten by going unrecorded. Because these ARE my "good ol' days". Take your pick : I hope to capture here a tiny glimpse of this simple and richly blessed thing I call my life.
Interests	My family, attempting not to make a disaster out of dinner, reading, striving to live a life pleasing to Jesus, decorating and rearranging furniture, meeting big needs in quiet ways, living simply, raising 2 children, maintaining my nursing knowledge, dates with my husband/best friend, inner-city and 3rd-world ministry
Favorite Movies	There is something missing in my DNA when it comes to movies. I don't love any and can't remember most of the ones I do see. But I'm a big fan of watching them for the company I'm with. It's family and friends that make movies memorable to me.
Favorite Books	Stroke of Insight, Still Alice, The Cider House Rules, Velvet Elvis, A Prayer For Owen Meany, Anne of Green Gables, The Velveteen Rabbit, and countless others. I'm a book junkie.
