Interests	Michel Demma is a patient of Dr, Khalili. A year ago he weighed about 380 Pounds, he is now 195! So he’s lost almost 20lbs each month. He’s 30yrs old and has been married to his wife for 11yrs. Before GASTRIC BYPASS he suffered from sleep apnea, depression, hi blood pressure, stress& anxiety disorder and was on 8 different medications. ALL of those are now gone and he is on zero meds! He’s had NO side effects since surgery! Michel worked in food management since 1996. The last 10 years he’s been managing Thornton Winery in Temecula which is a five star restaurant. Because obesity runs in the family he is actively involved in making sure his daughters eating habits are healthy and nutritious. Also he can now partake in a lot more activities with is daughter- swimming, playing etc. Michel, however, says that his mind hasn’t quite caught up to the changes in his body. He still can’t believe women are attracted to him or “check him out”. He eats about 8 times a day- small meals and healthy snack all high in protein. He started out at a size 58” waist in pants and is now a size 36! Went from a 4XL shirt to a medium/large! Michel heads up Khalili Center’s Satellite Support Group in Temecula and serves as an inspiration to many other patients.
