Introduction	CASA Latina was founded in 1994 by a group of community activists who had been working with Latino homeless in Seattle. CASA Latina is dedicated to empowering Latino immigrants through educational and economic opportunities, helping many immigrants learn the skills and get the jobs that they need to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. Our vision is that the Latino community participate fully in the economy and democracy of this country. Our values are social justice, community, respect, democracy, integrity, and learning.
