| Introduction | I retired as an engineer after 40 years with companies that provide material and services to the U.S. Department of Defense. A few years earlier, the Soviet Union had collapsed. The cold war was over. For me it was time to pursue different things--writing, learning, travel and hobbies. My interests are diverse from nature to economics to the political process to technology to history. I have published a novel, Encounters in Paradise and am working on a second novel and planning a third. |
