Favorite movies	Last great film I watched was Rashoman. Days of Heaven is very good as well. Unsure of my favorites. I wasn't too thrilled with any of this year's Oscar nominees--big surprise.
Favorite music	Right now listening to Yeasayer, Camera Obscura, Bill Callahan, Dan Deacon, Animal Collective--all albums from this year. The Wu-Tang Clan, The Velvet Underground, Jonathan Richman, all good from yesteryear.
Favorite books	Proust-Swann's Way, etc. Melville-esp. Bartleby Crane's Maggie Bishop's Geography III James Wright's The Branch Will Not Break
