Introduction | Lou Reiter has been in law enforcement for over 50 years. Currently he trains nearly 1000 police persons each year in Internal Affairs procedures; audits police agencies usually for insurance pools; and has been an expert witness in over 1100 police related civil trials. Lou retired as a Deputy Chief of the LAPD in 1981. He is co-director of the Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute of the Public Agency Training Council in Indianapolis.
