Introduction	I live on the ocean, write women's fiction, love to read so much that it's an addiction rather than a hobby (I read an average of a book a day). I live on the wet west coast so it's a good thing that I like to walk in the rain.
Interests	Books (oh surprise!), movies, music, art, walking on the beach, shopping at Granville Island, learning to play the cello, dinner with friends, traveling, traveling, traveling, talking, talking, talking.
Favorite movies	Wings of Desire, Wim Wender's great movie about Berlin, Brokeback Mountain, love the way Ang Lee tells us so much without words.
Favorite music	Leonard Cohen, Holly Cole, Gary Allen, Yo-Yo Ma, blues, blues, blues.
Favorite books	Which day do you want me to answer this question? It changes - but Jane Austen is right up there at the top of my list.
