| Introduction | I am a 29-year old mom with two kids who desperately wants to stay home and take care of them, but also realize my dream of turning my love for art and design into my own business. I have recently started Designs by Derilyn, a chance to design and sell home accessories that started when I refurbished a cabinet for my living room in which to house my children's many art supplies and books. A 20 cabinet I found at the Salvation army now looks like a piece of art in my living room and a lightbulb went off in my head: I could do this! So, add in my line of pillows etc and you have my shop so far. I have more passion for this than anything I have done in my career so far, and I believe it will be a success.
