Introduction | Probably one of the things I like the least is talking about myself. I much more enjoy talking about the things I am involved in and interested in. As a writer of crime fiction, I like to delve into the psychological aspects of a story, the why of it, rather than the when or how. I find that, especially with mystery or crime stories, readers are far more intrigued by the motivations of the bad guys. The whodunit puzzle, in all honesty, bores me. That being said, some of my favorite stories are whodunits and howdunits. But in my own writing I definitely lean to the whydunit. |
