Introduction | We love to eat, everywhere from greasy spoons to fine dining. We are originally from Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland, one is snowed in six months out of the year and the only thing to do is eat. Possibly, Cleveland's greatest asset is a huge variety of unique, locally owned and operated restaurants that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the city. This helped give us a broad palate and let us see that great food does not have to mean overpriced or overdone. Toni has been a professional baker, restaurant and bar manager, and involved in other aspects of the food business for many years. Erik just likes to eat. A few years ago, we left Cleveland and lived in the South, which exposed us to yet another brand of cuisine--fried and sweet. Now we are newly arrived in San Diego, California which boasts a wide variety of restaurants and local farmers markets. Our aim is to see what is good, great, and gross and bring it to you. |
