| Introduction | The Southern Goddess pretends she's a goddess, but in reality (she tries to stay in touch, occasionally), she's a full-time working wife, mom, full-time college student, garden lover, wannabee writer, horsewoman, and scrapbooker who pretends she lives in an old South antebellum home surrounded by lovely people who just live to serve her every whim. In truth, she struggles to keep up with day to day life while dreaming of the day when her house is clean, laundry is all done, errands are run, and her life is easy. She pretends she has all the time in the world, but really, she would love to have more time to ride her horses, record her family history in scrapbooks, write profound and inspirational poetry and catch moments in time with her camera. Oh, and blog. She shares her life with hubby, Monkey (not Rhett), Ava (the greatest "teenager" on Earth), four dogs (Lady Bella Grace, Blue Daisy, Captain and Teki) and Robert, the cat who thinks he's God. |

You're wearing a sweater that stretches down to your feet. What color belt do you put on?
Why would I even put on a belt?
