| Introduction | As an Architect and Professor of Construction Management at the University of Minnesota, one would not expect these professional credentials to support my blog posts or poetry. It's OK, I don't either. But I write it anyway, even if it's not so good. What it is, is fun. Writing FleetingCapture is just that - capturing the essence of a moment in time, mostly inspired by my travel and other interactions with people and places around the globe. For PoetaPages, I partner with Vicki, my draftswoman of many years to my architectural practice. This challenge of exchanging photos that the other must poeticize has been a creative outlet for both of us. We sometimes exchange random acts of poetry upon each other in an ordinary email. And as one interested (in a sick sort of way) in puns, the knack for punning and poetry is logical - at least in my head! So there you have it. No good reason why I do this, it just "is"!
