A cluster of moments
My blogs
| Introduction | If we gaze into the frothy foam that ocean waves bring, we notice our reflection in each bubble. A cluster of mirror-images form in the bubbles of foam near our sandy feet.
Staring into the bubbles (and at myself), I realized my life was no more than a cluster of bubbles – happy, sad, beautiful, ugly… I was everywhere in nature. I was in each bubble. I was important. I was washed away into nothingness. I resurfaced again. Even the most trying situation can only be a bubble – unstable and fleeting. Nature brought comfort with its cyclical quality, its detachment, its need to move on, its permanent impermanence… If all we have is a cluster of moments, then that is all this blog should be. That is all this blog can be. I am Ruta Kale and this is my blog of a cluster of moments. Of intense-noticing, of quick jottings, of sensory overload, of thought, of emotion, of laughter, of bubbles… and they are all the same… quick, effervescent, evanescing… filled with so much, filled with nothing… |
