Introduction	I am a (relatively) young and vibrant woman. I strive to live intentionally and with as much love as I can muster. Strive... that's a key word! I strongly believe in living what I believe and pursuing what I'm passionate about. That mentality took me to Kenya (in 2007) as a volunteer teacher. What was supposed to be a 10 week long volunteering experience turned into my life's work. I founded and currently direct a non-profit organization called Reason2Smile Inc (www.reason2smile.org) which supports orphaned and at-risk children in developing countries. We work closely with Jambo Jipya Academy in Mtwapa, Kenya and are looking to team up with more schools/orphanages in the future. I love spending time with the children in Kenya but I spend most of my time in the US where I can be found raising awareness and funds in schools, churches, civic organizations, and through a variety of events. I strongly believe that we need to teach our children how much they have that they can share with others for it truly is a far greater tragedy to be rich and not realize it, than it is to be poor and not realize it.
