| Introduction | Born in 1992, Lisbon, Portugal || Currently finishing my BA in History of Art in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, in Lisbon and taking an internship at The National Museum of Contemporary Art also in Lisbon, Portugal. Last year I was on erasmus in Leuven, Belgium. Between 2009 and 2011 I got my degree in Photography at the Antonio Arroio School of Arts, in Lisbon, finishing with a score of 19/20 in my final exam. While doing the BA in History of Art, I continued to work and study photography. Between 2011 and 2013 I took an internship at the STET bookstore in Lisbon. In 2012 I participated in the Artistic Residency “Conviver na Arte” hosted by the Robinson Foundation in Portalegre, PT and coordinated by António Camões Gouveia, Carlos Vargas and Paulo Catrica. During this residency I produced my work “HOME” published in the edition dedicated to the residency. Also in 2012 I was selected to the Young Creators Show 2012 with the work “CONCRETE” both exhibited at the show and in the catalogue. In 2013, I was selected for the Portfolio Review International Photography Award Emergentes DST 2013, part of the Encontros da Imagem 2013 in Braga, Portugal with the work “HOME”. |
