Introduction	My husband Dean and I served as cross-cultural missionaries in Ecuador, South America for 17 years. We began our ministry among the Saraguros, a highland Quichua indigenous group and lived there for 12 years. We spent the last 5 years in the capital city of Quito, I was an educational therapist at the Alliance Academy, as well as teaching in seminaries and Bible Institutes. We have three adult children (2 were born in Ecuador), and two grandchildren.
