Introduction	I am currently a PhD student at the University of Florida, in the School of Natural Resources and Environment. My focus is the ecology and management of grasslands in general, and Florida grazing lands in particular. I have broad interests in community, ecosystems and theoretical ecology, and a deep and abiding love of the land, soil and working outside. This blog is a platform for my wider musings on the health of landscapes, cultural and political ecology, human health, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
