Introduction	Tradition and custom have shaped the ethic and soul of Little Ruby. Her parents and other Elders have ensured that her wisdom would evolve into a positive force that would contribute constructively to the building of a renewed great and long lasting nation of peoples - one which would be a good blend of varied cultures and practises. Little Ruby's mother is Elder Ruby - a healer and language scholar; who travels throughout the western regions of Canada and the United States with a campaign to preserve the historical nature of oral testimonies. Today, there is a renewed vigor amongst Coast Salish peoples - and, in many other regions of this world - where peoples of all generations and cultures are seeking out the knowledge and wisdom that will guide us into the next years of this life here on Earth. The most difficult obstacles to overcome are ignorance and single-vision ways; and, the consequent negative energies of hatred that develop. But, there is a continual hope for better times. There is always hope when you seek it out.
