| Introduction | My name is Chris and I am a Peace Corps volunteer working in the youth development sector in Morocco. I have spent the duration of my service(which has now lasted for almost 2 years) on the edge of the Sahara desert in a small town in the country. I am 26 years old and have many interests, and seem to constantly discover more as I explore all of life's possibilities from a developing world perspective. I spent my undergrad studying communication with a PR focus, and didn't discover that I disliked it, and had no interest in pursuing a career in PR until my senior year. I enjoy people...talking with them, finding connections, and figuring them out. Something I also discovered my senior year in college is my love of travel. I studied abroad in London for a semester, traveled around most of Western Europe, and told myself that I couldn't ever stop traveling and discovering what the world has to offer. Thus, I now find myself in the Peace Corps, pursuing a career in international communication and development. I find that my life is currently interesting enough to write about and post on the internet...I hope you agree. |
