Introduction	I learned to knit when I was 12 years old after watching a high school girl on my school bus make all these wonderful things out of 2 sticks and yarn. I was so impressed with her that I had my younger cousin show me how it was done. In those days you would never actually talk to an upper classman no matter what. I made a pair of slippers and then decided I wanted a pair of mittens that had my school name knitted into them. Got out the graph paper and charted it, bought the yarn with my meager babysitting $$ and knitted away. Nobody told me this might be difficult so I had what I thought were the coolest mittens in my school. I wore them for years!
Interests	Knitting, quilting, sewing, all needlecrafts, semi-truck shows, US travel, genealogy
Favorite movies	Who has time for movies?
Favorite music	50's-60's like Elvis, Beach Boys, Paul Simon, 4 Seasons and a ton of others.
Favorite books	Either knitting related or some of the romance novels.
