| Introduction | Hey there! So, I am new to the world of blogging, but I'm so excited as I love to write in my spare time and I think this will be a great outlet for me. I'm also thrilled to dive into reading blogs from people around the world as well, so yes! I am very excited! About me? Well, I am terribly old fashioned... where I think I may have quite possibly been born in the wrong era? Perhaps? I love old movies, swimming, and at times I have been known to be a horrible cook! Or, disaster seems to find me in the kitchen. However, baking is a bit different for me, and I seem to have a little more luck...and I really enjoy it too! So, I've decided to attempt this blog in trying to tackle Mary Berry's famous recipes in her Baking Bible. Truth is, I have become quite rusty with my skills in the kitchen for a couple of years due to college life, and so, with this blog, I am challenging myself to get back into practicing... and of course, to also enjoy some of her well known desserts! |
