| Introduction | Since approximately 2002 I have gone solo clubbing to dance clubs and bars (mostly clubs) pretty much every single friday and saturday night. That amounts to going out 100+ times a year. Solo clubbing is pretty much what it sounds like. Clubbing. Solo. My failures are too frequent to count. If I were a baseball player, it would amount to the worst batting average of all time. Even worse than Mario Mendoza's famous batting average--the Mendoza Line. However, though Mendoza did indeed have a shitty average, he still wound up with 287 hits in his career...even the worst hitters get their hits. And that's what happens to me. I only have about a 5% success rate. But when you go out approximately 100 times a year, that still means having sex with 5 girls annually. Most guys that are not famous or cool will take that. This blog is a blow-by-blow account of my weekly shenanigans of solo clubbing on Fridays and Saturdays. What works, what doesn't work, what should work but doesn't, what shouldn't work but does, and what happens sometimes without explanation because I'm in the right place at the right time. Or vice versa. |
