Introduction I once had a part in Tennessee Williams's Camino Real where I played Spanish guitar and led a pretend blind woman around. A photographer friend of a cast member enjoyed listening to me play in the dressing room. He wanted to play himself and asked if I would sell him my guitar. I had another guitar, so we ended up trading the guitar for his Nikon F. I taught him three chords and he gave me a basic lesson on how to work the camera. I started taking pictures of the cast, and to my total surprise, they lined up to buy prints and asked me if I could do some head shots of them. I never looked back. A few years later, I was living in Europe and shooting assignments for major airlines and tour companies. I was able to travel to 67 countries for clients that included American Express, TWA, American Airlines, PanAm, KLM, Alitalia, and Varig. I'm mostly retired now and was living in New York City until a fire took away my home. In my senior years I've had to begin life again in another locale.
