| Introduction | I paint because I think controlling color is impossible. yet here’s the studio, full of little canisters of color, and if I take my brush or finger I can touch it, spread it, mix two together and maybe that exact shade has never been made before, or maybe it has and i just got in on the secret of green, and maybe if I paint, I can paint the inside out. and on those nights, I sleep. so that’s why I paint. |
