| Introduction | Preacher's Kid ... I'm not bitter! When I was nineteen I was living across the street from the church I was attending. I was watching the elderly congregation file in for the morning service. I was struck with the realisation that there were generations of people already here before Christ, doing the right thing by God. The sick feeling of being part of another generation of pharasies more concerned with outward holiness than heart and humanity awakened me. Mine is a prodigal story. Returning to faith, knowing I needed God ... does not mean wearing church culture. Before giving me your doctrine - read the gospels. As said by Mahatma Gandhi “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” |
| Interests | The senses ... all of them, but I do have an audio addiction. Music is life and breath. This one followed only by ... Taste: Food, experience it ... close your eyes and order something other than the steak, take the degustation adventure. |
| Favorite movies | Before Sunset, Better Than Sex, The Secretary, Henry & June and anything in the Vampire genre - especially Underworld ... where can I get a better line than "my name is seline, I am a death dealer" |

| Favorite books | Written On The Body - Jeanette Winterson "You were careful not to say those words that soon became our private altar. I had said them many times before, dropping them like coins into a wishing well, hoping they would make me come true. I had said them many times before but not to you. I had given them as forget-me-nots to girls who should have known better. I had used them as bullets and barter. I don't like to think of myself as an insincere person but if I say I love you and I don't mean it then what else am I? Will I cherish you, adore you, make way for you, make myself better for you, look at you and always see you, tell you the truth? And if love is not those things then what things?" |
