| Introduction | This blog is here to chronicle all of my parenting f$ck-ups and fails. Because oh, there are soooo many. I just may be the luckiest unlucky person around, but thankfully my sense of humor and wits carry me through my days. A little about me -- my, lets call him "former co-worker," died suddenly in the winter of 2013. I've absorbed his "department" and all of his "duties" (however few he actually had, but that's another can of worms), and now I'm working double over-time as an exempt employee. My current job description serves the domains of both Mom and Dad, with duties and responsibilities of raising three spirited (code for: loud and opinionated) kiddos, hazardous waste clean-up, sanitation engineer, insomniac, head chef, behavioral therapist (this family rides the Autism choo-choo, weeeee!), private tutor, stylist, personal trainer, chauffeur, project manager, life coach, nurse, and chief financial officer. I'd say that I wear "many hats," but I'm not a hat person (they make my head look weird). If you're in the mood to read a little self-deprecating non-sense from a reasonably intelligent member of the human race you may have just found your place. -- JK |
