| Introduction | Family has always been important to me, including those who came before. There are those that I know (presently) and those that I desire to know (from the past). The curiosity about my ancestors becomes stronger each day. Each fascinating story fills in the gaps of time. Their strengths and weaknesses remind me of my own. Each story helps me analyze my own story. Many of them did the best they could with what they had. My greatest desire is to do the same. I am an entrepreneur at heart with an incredible number of interests and an expanding mindset; creative, analytical and strong in recognizing patterns. Genealogical research, information gathering, analysis and writing. Civil engineering, land surveying, legal descriptions, reading/drawing land maps and construction background. Over 30 years of experience researching land records. Over 12 years of experience running a survey crew, finding/setting property corners, writing legal descriptions and drawing land plats/maps. I am also a published author via Acres USA magazine who published my articles over the years on edible and medicinal wild plants. |
