Introduction | Hello! What do you want to know about me? I am primarily a seamstress, and my major preoccupation is recreating historic clothing. I have been training, as best as time allows, in the arts of pattern making, draping, and tailoring. I also dabble in crafts related to historical clothing, such as millinery, wig making, jewelry making, cordwaining, needlework, weaving, lace making.... In this blog I share projects that I have worked on, or am in the process of making. Every so often I may post about non-costuming projects, such as doll art. Sometimes I'll share things made by my lovely and talented friends/partners-in-crime. So, put on your hat, and come play dress up with me. :) |
