Introduction	I have a permanent reminder of God's grace and mercy; my kitchen floor. We decided we wanted wood floors in our new home, I came while they were being installed and all I noticed were the stripes where they were working from one palette to another. I HATED it and let poor Chris know it.(what made it worse was that he was the one laying the floor and was so proud of his idea to mix the palettes of wood) It almost made me sick with disappointment and the only thoughts I had were where to get a big sander and how was I going to restain the floors so they looked "right". Anyway, early one Sunday morning I came out here (the house wasn't completely finished then) and I sat in the middle of the floors and cried. God gently (like a ton of bricks) placed a scripture in my head that will never forget. "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the chastisement of our sin was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5. STRIPES, just like the ones on my floor were on the back of my Savior. Yes, my attitude improved and you may come see my beautiful floor any time.
Interests	Photography, gardening (or some feeble attempt at gardening), horses, outdoor sports, swimming, cooking, and following my children around.
Favorite movies	Gone With The Wind (what southern girl doesn't like this one?), Miss Congenality, National Treasure, and the Indiana Jones movies. I also like Steel Magnolias, and Fried Green Tomatoes. I'm a sucker for a good chick flick.
Favorite music	Southern gospel, contemporary gospel (LOVE Casting Crowns!). I like most country (George Strait), ALL Christmas music, and some classical. (I'm amazed at how quickly "flight of the bumblebee" can be played on a piano.
Favorite books	My new "Women of Faith" Bible Casey got me for my birthday. I've also got some Beth Moore books, and I LOVE Terri Blackstock. However, the most recent books I've been reading contain pictures, like "Rainbow Fish" and "Let's Be Nice to Others"
