| Introduction | I am the Pastor of Bellevue Christian Center in Bellevue, MI. I was born and raised in a Brahmin family in India with a lot of emphasis on religious activity. Feb 19th 1991, a day I will never forget, a day when all the events from the prior year culminated into this one overpowering thought - What do I think of Jesus Christ? If He is who He says He is, then a response is absolutely vital." On that day I responded to the invitation of Jesus Christ, and my life was forever changed. It is my desire and burden that all, and especially, my fellow brothers and sisters from India, hear this compelling and liberating Gospel of my Savior Jesus Christ. I was pursuing God as a "theory", a speculative god, a figment of my own imagination, a god that started with me, and ended in me, until the day I realized that God can be known only by revelation and He has revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. If there is anything that gives meaning to life, even though in itself a profound mystery, I am convinced it is the Cross. I pray that these short devotions will bless you, and perhaps cause you to consider the claims of Jesus Christ. |
