| Introduction | I am a student at Rowan University majoring in Writing Arts. I have created this blog for an assignment in my Writing, Research and Technology class. I decided to explore the world of travel writing because it combines two of my passions in life; writing, and exploring the world. I love to write short stories and poetry, and I also like to write creative nonfiction. I have been on a few road trips across the country and also visited a friend in Denmark. When I travel anywhere I always keep a journal handy to capture the trip on paper, but so far I have never written anything that I would consider true travel writing. I want to learn more about what travel writing really is. Maybe after I do some research I will feel more confident about giving it a try myself. Through this blog I want to learn more about what travel writers are saying, and how they are saying it. I will be sharing my information and my thoughts as I begin my journey down the road of travel writing! |
