Introduction	I'm a mid-western girl (born and raised) and I've had the privilege of traveling with my mom to some pretty amazing places (like London, Ireland, Egypt and Israel). She's been to many more international destinations. But neither of us has ever been to India. Then, I heard that a friend of mine was getting married in a village in South India and he extended an invitation for us to come to the wedding. We couldn't resist! Not only were we going to see a whole new part of the world, but I would get to meet people that live there and share a special moment in their lives. This was too good to be true.
