| Introduction | Retirement has finally come and for the first few years I lived as a "desert rat" on a small chunk of desert land in Rio Rancho, NM. Recently my husband and I moved to Carrollton, KY so we would be near my son. It has been quite an experience. We live on an acre of land that is mostly grass but have lots of forest and farm land around us. My pets include 4 cats, 1 dog, 2 horses, and 2 ponies. All pets were adopted from shelters. I like to raise flowers, and houseplants, and I try to garden. I sometimes attempt to write fiction and nonfiction stories. I love to take photos and share them. I enjoy watching the sun rise in the morning and the moon rise in the evening, and love watching nature. I am an avid reader of fiction books with westerns and mysteries being my favorites. |

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
