| Introduction | I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. My dad was in the U.S. Navy, and when he retired we were living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was the only place that I had ever lived for over 18 months at a time, so Virginia Beach quickly became home to me. I have a son and twin daughters who are just about to turn 21. Kelley is a LPN and lives in Virginia Beach with her new husband, Jon. Krystle is married to Eric, who is in the U.S. Army. They are currently stationed in Korea. I have thouroughly enjoyed visiting with them there. I am a career teacher. I teach a third grade inclusion class with special education. I work with a wonderful special education teacher and assistant, Eileen and Nancy. We make a great team, and we are making a difference in the lives of these children. What I love most is turning children on to the joy reading. |
