| Introduction | This is my second year teaching at Rangikura school, and I can truly say I have dearly loved my time here! I currently live with my wife Julia and son Theo in Tawa, having grown up in the southern suburbs of Wellington. We have really enjoyed living close to Porirua, and becoming a part of the community. This is my second year teaching, having previously worked in the banking and insurance industries for 15 years. I have loved the change in career, and have learned as much from my learners as they have from me! Thank you for entrusting me with your precious tamariki. I will do my best to help them achieve their massive potential. A big focus in 2016 will be respecting ourselves, others and our environment, with a view to becoming responsible citizens of Porirua. We will work hard, but there will be plenty of fun to be had along the way. Whanau are welcome at any time in Room 1, and I can't wait to meet you all throughout this year. Children learn best when home and school work together in a partnership, so please let me know if you would like to be involved in your child's schooling in any way, or have any questions. |
