He received a Master of Public Administration degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1994. Before joining Drake & Company he worked as a coordinator of a drug prevention program at the university level. He recently worked as an account manager at the St. Louis-based Brewster-Siddens Group, a public relations, marketing and event planning firm where he managed several clients and served as office manager.
