| Introduction | AISD-TV Channel 22 provides the television services for the benefit of Austin ISD teachers, students and staff, and the Austin ISD community. AISD operates a non-profit educational cable access channel. Franchise agreements between the City of Austin and Time Warner Entertainment Company, L.P., and the city of Austin and Grande Communications Holdings, Inc. make the school district's cable channel available to both Time Warner and Grande Communications cable television subscribers. AISD's Cable Channel 22 is managed by the office of Media Production/Cable TV. |
