Introduction	I loved the city and working at the shelter, but it was time for a change. Here I am now on Bainbridge Island, learning from remarkable farmers of Laughing Crow and Butler Green Farms how to save the world through agriculture done well.
Interests	Most things green (especially plants-- native if possible, or edible imports), books, community gardens, biking, walking, hiking (in forests, in particular), cooking with or for people (especially using unusual ingredients), ecology, learning new words, traveling, music

Favorite books	Cry, the Beloved Country, Grapes of Wrath, The Brothers K, poems by Mary Oliver, What is the What, anything by Wendell Berry or Barbara Kingsolver
