| Introduction | Kiso is the dharma name I received when I took the precepts to become a lay Zen Buddhist practitioner many years ago. It's supposed to translate to “subtle light,” although friends know that I can be as subtle as a sledge hammer. I don't consider myself to be a Zen Buddhist or a Zen student these days, but I am still a strong advocate for meditation practice. I am a Tai Chi practitioner of over 20 years. I've also facilitated Labyrinth walks/experiences for over 10 years. |
