| Introduction | Im 20 yrs old and working my way through college. My father is gone and I live with my mother and oldest brother. Like many middle class family we are struggleing to make it. My brother has mental problems and is in and out of institutions, my other brother is studying to be a doctor, and cannot work to help out the family, I am a single parent trying to get custody of my 1 yr old son. My family is really close and I try to work enough so that i can help my mother pay for my other brothers, while still trying to afford a lawyer. I can see why there are so many fatherless children part of my goal in life is to make that number drop. Im going to school to be a psycologist and i hope one day to start a program that will help single fathers, much like the programs that help single mothers. My babys mom is not a good mom, but she dose get enoguh money form me and the govorment to get a much better lawyer then me, but im not discourage, i wont stop fighting for whats best for my son, and i hope one day all fathers will be able to do the same |
