Introduction	Sherif is Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and Assistant Research Officer at the University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Comparative and Public Law. He is co-founder, International Advisor and former Editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed law journal, Westminster Law Review. He has held various international teaching positions and formerly worked with the UN Department of Political Affairs in New York, the European Commission in Brussels and the University of Pretoria's Child Law Centre. His current research interests include the UN Security Council, the rule of law, international criminal law, and regional international human rights mechanisms.
