| Introduction | Over the past ten years I have been working in the field of environmental conservation within an international non-government organisation (NGO) tackling issues such as, threatened species recovery, climate change, marine habitat protection and sustainable livelihoods. I have a passion for incorporating social ethics and environmental know-how into the realm of fashion and design. In 2010 I started a blog called "Kindness by Design", which champions designers of all types who approach their work from an eco-friendly and ethical standpoint.
