| Introduction | Hi! I'm Maddie. Last June I graduated from Shattuck St. Mary's (MN) and after much thought I decided to take a gap year before enrolling in college. The gap year program that I was accepted into is called, "Thinking Beyond Borders" (thinkingbeyondborders.com). The program is dedicated to the study of international development through community service and humanitarian work. I am traveling across the world from Sept. 8, 2010 - May 8, 2011 hoping to learn from and teach others.
