Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Hmm... I think that's contingent on whether or not spoons have vestigial tines. Or, if spoons are older than forks, as there are sporks, which could be considered the missing link between spoon and fork, but offers no evidence as to which way the utensil is evolving. I would like to see a fossil bed of ancient utensils that is undisturbed to make a conclusive decision.
