| Introduction | I am a wife and mother to the most wonderful husband and daughter in the world. I have been married to my husband, Travis for 10 years and my daughter, Ashlynn is two years old. In addition to making cakes and cake balls, I also work three twelve hour shifts at the hospital each week as a nurse tech. I began my cake career back in 2005 when I took Wilton cake decorating classes with my mother as a hobby. I soon realized that I enjoyed making cakes for others and made several cakes for family and friends. After changing careers (banking to medical field) and becoming a mother, life became crazy and hectic and I soon quit making cakes as often except for the occasional family birthday or holiday. Here recently I was asked by a friend to do a cake for his wife and well, from there this wonderful opportunity arose. I truly enjoy making and decorating cakes for others and love to see their reaction when I am able to present them with the cake they have been looking forward to receiving. |
