| Introduction | Hi, My Name is Hazmin. I am from Brunei Darussalam. I was born in 1978 and have been playing guitar for 16 years now (2006). I am not a full time musician nor guitarist but just an ordinary self taught guitarist. I love to listen to alot of guitar players out there. But if i were to mention a few of them it would be Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, Guthrie Govan and Yngwie Malmsteen (early influence). The guitar players that has such a huge influence on me would be Paul Gilbert and Yngwie Malmsteen. These are the two guitar players that heavily influenced me during my early days. But as i grew older i began to explore sooooo many guitar players but one guitar player that really blew me away would be Guthrie Govan. I have seen Guthrie play live three times when i was a student in the UK and everytime he never fails to amuse me......he is really that good. At the moment i am currently using my Ibanez PGM301, Ibanez RG, Crafter acoustic, Godin Multiac Duet Series Nylon acoustic and my Marshall AVT100 amp. My goal is to become a versatile guitar player just like Guthrie Govan.... |
