Introduction	I love anything with four legs and fur. But cats in particular hold a special place in my heart. From literally the very first day that I got my first cat, 15 years ago, I have been rescuing, sheltering, feeding and, where possible, rehabilitating & re-homing strays and unwanted cats. Previously, I worked solo, simply trying to do what I could for the ones that crossed my path. More recently, I've teamed up with a amazing rescue group here in Montreal called Cause 4 Paws as one of their foster homes. I specifically enjoy working with the hard luck cases. The older semi-ferals that other fosters are hesitant to work with. And while it's true that semi-ferals require more time and patience to socialize, it's so utterly rewarding to see them slowly blossom and come out of their shells. Nothing in this world makes me happier than watching these transformations occur. This is mostly a place for me to document and share my experiences of working with my fosters. You'll also find health information as well as tips on socialization techniques and dealing with multi-cat households scattered throughout it's pages.
