| Introduction | In 2004, Jerry Perisho was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After having his prostate surgically removed, he entered a clinical trial of experimental chemotherapy and hormone therapy. This trial period ended in March of 2007. Because of the side effects of chemotherapy, Jerry was forced to resign from his position as a senior officer for a publicly-traded bank. Great medical care saved Jerry's life and he saw that people around him were placing themselves at risk by not obtaining good health care insurance. Additionally, friends enrolling in Medicare were expressing confusion about how to protect themselves. So, Jerry focused his attention on providing guidance to those who are Medicare eligible, as well as offering health insurance products to protect his clients. Today, Jerry's Medicare Health Insurance business is thriving. And, his oncologist sees no sign of prostate cancer in him. |
